I'd like to hear what you all think about two things... #1 Need something a little bigger and better than a Honda 300EX for my husband. It works great for me but he needs a little more. We do everything from mountain trails to sandy dunes but don't want to spend an arm and a leg (not new). #2 I have a mini 150cc mini buggy that was Jap motor and pretty much burned up in Glamis. I'm thinking of putting a quad motor in it to give it the power and durablility. Any suggestions on what type I should look for? It's chain driven. Me not knowing much mechanical doesn't help me much, but that is why I turn to all of you WISE, EXPERIENCED, and INTELLIGENT people. Thanks for any help.

 

Around here, you can get an 04 400EX for $4,000 out the door (it got reverse and a plastic redesign in 05). If I had room in the garage, I would run out and get one just to have a fresh one seeing my old one is 7 years old (but still running great!). A use one should be nearly free!
