Default 1st run in w/ 700 Modded Raptor

1st impressions the quad is beautiful, and sounded awsome. The rider came by reving the motor at us and it sounded very snappy. We talked with the owner and found out he had allready spent quite a bit of money new wheels and tires, sparks exhaust, tag bars, dobeck fuel injection controller(sp?) said it had a "little motor work". First run I spun bad he pulled 3-4 bikes out of the hole, started pulling back around him,he let off after about 200ft. We ran again and didn't get drug so bad out of the hole this time. I bet he could see my smile through my helmet and goggles when I was looking back pumping it at him 4th. Not bad for a 300+lb rider vs. 150lb. For some reason he wouldn't hang around much after that. Had lots of fun yesterday, the best part is my day ran out a whole tank of gas on his powervalved scrambler 400. He had people lined up to race. From the 400s to 450s raptors and v-forces all that lined up got dissapointed, a polaris auto isn't supposed to be fast.
Justin
PS. I still love my DS

The dobeck controller is a good entry level one. It will work for a few mods but the range of adjustability is limited. They say you can send the box back and move the range up or down.
