Default DS650 Intake manifold

Well, I thought I was handy until now. Need help getting top intake manifold bolt out. 6 hours no luck. Do they make a special tool? Starting to feel stupid.

welcome to the forums

You will need a ball end allen wrench. And a mallet
While turning the allen wrench. Smack the manifold so you turn it counter clock wise. This will spin the maifold a liitle and break the allen bolt loose.

I also made my own little "custom" allen wrench to fit into the tight and awkward space. Nothing a little cutting torch cant handle.

Thanks, eaglecollectors suggestion worked. 10 minutes to go get the tool, 2 to take off and replace with new ported intake. My dad always said "life is tough and even tougher when your stupid" should have listened.

LOL....no problem. Don't be so hard on yourself though. We all went through that same problem. This site is how I learned how to do a lot of what your getting ready to do sooner or later.
