Predator HMF

Just installed HMF pipe and header on my 05 TLD........I am using the stock airbox with K&N drop in.....and yes I understand not getting the full performance out of the pipe with the stock airbox and lid...LOL......pilot jet is one size up HMF gave me a 155 main.......runs great alll across the board...no stumbles....dead spots...etc.....just curious if 155 is enough....should i go higher?....also the header seems a little close to the oil tank...don't remember how the stock one looked...anyway thanks for your input.....

header/oil tank will be fine.......
Yeah......that seems like it might be kinda lean......but I don't know where you live(altitude and temp)........
I'd run it hard......shut it off(no idle)......and then check the plug......
My guess is it needs to be around 160

congrats on your TLD, if you can, take a look at a Rath Raceing Stainless Steel head pipe, the best made and the best performance, and it will match up beautifully with that HMF pipe. its about 200 bucks, im sure you can sell your HMF header for a nice lump, even if it is a little bit of a loss.

btw, when i get some dough, im putting the rath on

I would not reccomend the rath headpipe if you already have the hmf full system(headpipe and exhaust)......The rath won't give you much above what you already have.
My next investment would be the Nicholas cycle carb mods, and a clamp on air filter......

I'm running a 175 main with my HMF carb mod and clamp on, i think i ran a 160 or 165 MJ when i just had the system.
