Im looking at getting 26" 589s for my 800. My pxts have had problems holding air since day 1, my beads have more tree bark, rock and mud in them the trails i ride on. Just wondering if they fit on the front, stock are much narrower then the 589s.

 

I hope so...........I just ordered 589's- 26x9x12's for the front & 26x12x12's for the rear. I asked the sales person that same ? and he said yes they would fit. I hope this answers your ?

 

I think the front rims are 8" so they should fit on the rims. My concern was that the ITP C-Series rims that the tires are on now are off set and it looks like the tires would rub on the tie rod ends if they were on stock rims.

26x9x12 589's do not fit on the front of a stock SP800, the front tires hit the tie rod end, you have to buy a set of spacers. The 26x12x12's fit perfect on the back. I tried washers on the front studs but ran out of room so I had to order a set of $79.95 spacers for the front. FYI.....

 

I HAVE AN 04 700 AND THE 26" 589 HIT THE TIE RODS. ON THESE MACHINES A SET OF 79.00-129.00$ ONE INCH WHEEL SPACERS MAKE THE MACHINE ALOT BETTER HANDLING ANYWAY. THE REARS ARE FINE.

 

they will/should fit on with no problem, the stock front rims are 8" wide and the front tires are 8 as well. the 05's had widend front ends so if anything it should be rubbing the struts if it rubbed at all

 

Stock front rims are 6" wide....
