The tm is a much better carb in my opinion.......especially for trails and mx racing.............Not many run the edlebrock, this is another carb, I've heard stories about. Do you currently have any modificatoins??? If not, you don't need anything even close to the TM......it would be way to good of a carb for the stock motor.....maybe something closer to the stock carb being modded.

When it come to carb it is about how munch money you want to spend and what works for you. I went with the Edelbrock and it works for me. I have one on my DS650 and I know how too set one up. Both the Edelbrock and the TM45 have stiffer thumb push than a stock carb, but I like twist (my thumb get worn our on the computers all week long) the stock carb should work fine till you modify the air box and get a full exhaust system. There is all so the 41mm Keihin FCR Flatslide Carb out there at Hot Seat Performance.
