Default Another CV Boot

I have tore off my 3rd cv boot in the last 6 months on my 05 700 efi. 1 rear and 2 front. Any ideas for covers other than the lousy
ones that that come with the machine. I'm a easy rider and this is becomming a royal pain.

Thanks

i dont believe that that is your problem, if you look at the boot there is so much bind from the angle of the cv and when you go over a large bump less stress on the cv will occur causing more bind on the boot. try some gorilla thermoplastic boots they work like a dream

Get yourself a full set of Stick Stoppers from www.candssales.com $100 to your door. I blew out my front two CV boots the first time I took mine out this last Memorial weekend. Haven't lost one since I put them on and I've been through some real shat and have 1000 miles on it now.

I agree with the Gorilla boots....they are MUCH better. Excellent service from the Gorilla shop down in Monroe, LA too...

two things as the guys mentioned above....heavy duty boots and stick stoppers....I have the stick stoppers, but I know some of the guys were saying if you're mudding alot and get alot of crap up around the boot areas that the stick stoppers will keep the crap up there and cause it to tear the boot...i haven't had the problem....

don't know what you're getting in to, but i've been through alot and haven't torn a boot....well I have, but i ripped the whole cv apart...

get your factory boot gaurds away from your boots at least 2 inches and buy the gorilla boots. leave the bottom of your a arms open so they will drain or it will do like elkbow said. the stickstoppers will trap the trash and tear your boots.
