This may not be helpful, but you mentioned, "I heard a sound (something like when you shift it from D to L while moving)". I don't recall exactly, but I thought you are not supposed to shift or change transmission selections while moving. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Default Help!!! Rubicon will not move

well the last is right DO NOT SHIFT WILE MOVING but if you didn't shift which i don't think you did, it maybe somthing to do with the swash plate in the tranny going out. or even though it's rare a gear could have split some where in the final drive, so either on of two thing has to happen, if your not already you need to become a very good patient mechanic and pull it apart or take it to a dealership. good luck.

No don't shift while moving
But it was that type of noise

I dropped it off at the dealer today and the way he talked if it was the trany Honda would more than likely cover it(it's up to the rep) He said four new Honda bikes in 3yr helps a lot too.

So wait and see

if i go over 60MPH on my rubicon it will set a trouble code and lock the quad into 3rd gear... and the D1 and D2 flashes. if that is your issue Its fixed by pulling the battery cable off for 5 minutes

Thats weird, never heard that before.

Mudslinger that does really suck. I don't have many more than 200 miles on my 06 and haven't had no probs yet. Other than my stereo draining the battery. Its hard to tell what the prob could be. Don't have any experience on these quads yet. The trannys are so technical, but it could be something so minor as a spring. I'd really like to know the outcome though. I got the extended two year warranty, so I should be ok for a while.
