MudSlinger69, you wrote on Nov. 16 that you dropped your atv off at the dealership but didn't write back until today saying what the problem was. Just curious but did it take that long to get your machine back? Also, did you purchase the extended warranty? You said you were only two months out of warranty and were upset that Honda did not cover the whole cost. My question is, if Honda covers everything for you when you are out of warranty, what's the incentive for the next guy to purchase the extended warranty? Buying 4 bikes in two years helps, and I know its only two months but again why should anyone ante up the extra money if Honda will cover you regarless. If you did have the extended warranty and that just ran out, then I can see your point. I don't know the whole story here either and I'm not trying to say you are wrong, but I question how a customer can complain about warranty coverage when they refuse to purchase extra coverage.

By the way, you can't get a 5 year warranty on an Outlander anymore. That expired and you needed a coupon to recieve it when it was available. BRP has an optional 3 year warranty (sometimes free when running a promotion, but not always) but they also charge you a $50 deductible EVERY time you take it to the shop after 6 months.

 

It's out of warranty no extended warranty (it was a Honda)
yes they had it that long Honda took pic they said they never seen that (that's the dealer the rep would never call me and I couldn't get his number)
my complaint is one it only had 5??mi and if I would not of bought the 400ex then I would of rode the ruby all summer and it would of happened then why it was in warranty

If Honda wants me back they are going to have to make a real ***** to the wall machine (no more well I'd rather buy the Honda because it's a Honda)
