250r or 450r rear shock on a 400ex

Is the rear shock interchangeable for any of these quads?

I don't know if the lenght is the same, but the ends are the same on the 450r and the 400ex. The 250r is different.

250r or 450r rear shock on a 400ex

I put a 450 on my 400EX. I tried to put a 400ex on a 250R. It would not fit, It would require some mods. Cause the top bracket on the 250R was smaller in width then the 400 shock. So I would think that the 250R should fit the 400EX. 400 EX front shocks to fit the 250R and raises the front end up some.
