Repairing composite floor boards

The new Sportsman got it's first boo boo yesterday. Got hung on a stump and broke the floor board.

I did a search on this, and all I found was someone saying he was going to use JB Weld to try to fix it. Anybody else have any experience with this. My idea was to use epoxy. It is only about a 3 inch break, not enough to replace it.

Suggestions ?

I tried JB weld on the composite floorboard of my Kodiak, it lasted all of three seconds.

Has anyone tried those plastic 'welding' kits they have out there? The kind that use heat to melt the broken pieces together & add a filler material to fill any cracks. I have been intrigued by them, but have no experience with them.
