I am looking at a bombardier 400 maxx that is a 2005 model for $5,800. I have not ridden it yet and have not owned an atv before. Is it worth paying extra for a 2006? Any big changes other than the metal rack as opposed to plastic?

My other question is are these as fun to ride as the bruin 350 I have ridden on before or is this too big and not as maneuverable? Any input at all on this ride is appreciated. Thanks

 

i think the 05 model is fine, dont pay more for the 06 because i dont think there are any big changes.
any 2 seater probably wouldnt be as "fun" as a normal quad
the maxx is also like 9" longer than a bruin, so the manueverability is definitely going to be down

Neighbor had one. Put it on Ebay the day he rode our Arctic Cat TRV. He had it one season and had to buy some new plastic that cracked. He didn't like the steering and thought the 400 was a dog. He bought a TRV and loves it.
