how many hours can a full tank of gas on a ds last..aggressive riding in pits

 

On my two I've gotten three plus hours while desert riding. Some **** hauling, some cruising, some climbing, mining roads, dry lake beds, dunes. etc... Pretty agressive stuff normally with the usual amount of breaks on ocassion.
Just put an IMS desert tank on the 03 and went four and half and never hit reserve.

 

50 miles is safe on a stock tank, with my IMS 5 gallon everyone else runs out before I even switch to reserve.

 

While ridding on the Trans Canada Trail last weekend (This trail will soon be connected accross all of Canada), I almost made 3 hours. We were ridding a nice smooth trail and hitting some serious speeds. I had to push my bike back on the truck after ridding for 2 hours and about 45 minutes.

I can usually make it about 4 hours and combined trail and speed ridding though !!!
