F650 Stator and Rectifer

OK I got an F650 gs STator, now Im being told that I need a new rectifier??? why is that??

F650 Stator and Rectifer

the F650 GS rectifier supports more current with thicker wires (same concept as F650 GS stator).

I installed an F650 GS rectifier only, with a stock DS stator.
