Yep, you sure can. It works quite well too. Basically the civiic intake gives a long tube from the carb, giving the carb the vacuum it needs. Then you can put a special K&N filter on the end of it. Only thing I don't like about it, as apposed to my clamp on.......is that mine is closer to the middle of the quad, where this setup is right above the tires....leaving it open for the environment. As said above, check out pred owners....

Default predator intake?

i just bought a honda civic intake off of ebay for less than 30 bucks. it is better than spending 120 - 160 bucks on those other billit alum. filter kits. does the same thing.

The only thing I don't like about the Civic intake is that you have to manually attach it to the frame. Most folks are doing that with with bungee or wire ties, but if those come loose and you break the intake or it comes off somehow and don't know it, you're screwed. As Brad mentioned, your filter is right there in the elements too. Not an issue for me really, but I like having some protection around it just in case.

I thought about going the Civic route, but you accomplish the same thing with a clamp-on. Fewer parts and less hassle, so that's what I'll be putting on.
