Has anyone tried to use the new 800 efi Magnesium primary clutch on there scrammy 400. It has that new one way bearing thing in it.I was given this clutch for free to try out and was wondring if anyone has tried this mod.It is a ebs clutch ,but so is my Team secondary.

You will need an ebs secondary clutch on the scrammy if you put the 800 ebs equipped primary clutch on.

 

we shall see soon, I'm I the middle of fixxing up the old scrammy for the winter.My pred will not be used as much in snow and ice.My scrammy needs some tlc and I'm sick of the comit clutch I have,too hard to get right.I should be able to go to the 10-56 weights and the blue spring with this 800 clutch.I was thinking the same as you, it should stand up easy.With my hpd race kit and this clutch it may be one hell of a ride.I'll keep everyone posted as to how it goes.
All i need now is the HPD stator/cdi upgrade,and a fresh top end (new piston rings).

 

is your scrammy a 4x4? i know most 400's were 2x4's

 

My scrammy is a 2x4 and I have the Team TS99 which is a ebs clutch.
