Any one check it out yet? That is a bad boy exhaust, If it porduces power like their yZ400 full exhaust it will rock. I think I will be buying it. Ill email them to see if they Dynoed it yet. That is a shiny exhaust too, I wonder if its ceramic or chromed? Sweet.

 

I talked to them today, it’s a ceramic coating, says it won’t dis-color like chrome. They said the full exhaust system adds over 12hp but they haven’t Dynoed it. Cost is around $425 and you can call and get on the list. The first pipe went to a Yamaha racing team, be about a month for the production to ramp up. They also have a muffler only ($199), but they said that you can’t upgrade that later with the head pipe, it’s a complete system. Nice people to talk to, said they are also working on an air box replacement and filter system for even more power

 

Did I hear that Right? Only Kawasaki Supports a Race team officially. Is Yamaha Going to Back a MX team or GNCC team Or Both? Factory race teams guarantee that quads will become a higher priority in their R&D dept. and all the aftermarket manufacturers too. Thats even better news.

 

I know yamaha gave mike penland and his team 2 Raptors to race in the upcoming bajas, because I talked to him at the ironman. He wanted to ride mine but i couldn't let him because it was on display for pro-tect.

 

I don’t know about Yamaha backing a factory team, the guy at Curtis Sparks Racing just said the first pipe went to a racing team down in bajas. Maybe its this Mike Penland guy shollz is talking about, but anyway the pipe looks like a sweet deal and is on my Xmas list for sure
