I just bought an '06 450R yesterday and am now looking for insurance. For those of you with insured quads what company do you use and how much do you pay? Thanks for any and all input.

 

I use Foremost. Full coverage for all three of mine is $500 a year give or take a few $$$.

 

I used bikeline http://www.bike-line.com/ and it gave me the best rate. 215 for a year of coverage that is on a 06 raptor 700 not bad
ps had to have at least a 500 deductable for the bank

 

state farm 217 a year with 50.00 deductable

 

I use Progressive Insurance. I have the 450R, 400EX and 250EX all with full coverage. $65.00 per year each with no deductable.
None of my friends can get it that cheap and the only reason I can think of is my age. I'm 48.

The rates are drastically effected by your zip code....

My rate was much lower than my dad's that lived about 75 miles away...

I use the ATV-Line insurnace as well...I think I am at $65-$75 a yr for my 06 450R

His rates were almost double due to his zip code

 

If you do not need full coverage (not financed), look at the breakdown of the rates. Liability and collision drive the cost up. I just put fire and theft coverage on mine, so it is much cheaper. I figure the only loss I would have would be either a fire or a theft.
