That sucks . You have to have a bare minim of PLPD "Public Liability and Property Damage" in Ontario to ride off your property. PLPD has fire and theft included but not collision.

If your insurance company does not pay then what was the point of getting any?

 

I assume they have insurance on it. Its brand new. New atvs with a loan on them are required to have insurance. Even if they paid cash, insurance is cheap. I haven't had insurance on any atv I've owned for a long time but I've only bought older machines. The insurance company will reimburse them eventually if it isn't found right away. Probably better off anyway. Once something gets stolen, you have to assume whoever stole it abused the crap out of it. It almost never will return to you in the same condition. It sucks but the likelihood of them getting it back is very slim. Its probably thousands of miles away by now. If might turn up on craigslist somewhere possibly. It might be one of those fake ads.
