Default custom grab bar

if you make your own custom grab bar out of steal thick and strong and were to wheelie and hit it is it more likely your frame would bend. i know it sounds like an amature question but i see everyone that does those professional like wheelies have them and i was just wondering if your frame would bend (concidering making one)

in theory it is more likely that it would bend, because an aluminum grab bar would accept the hit and bend rather than possibly bend the frame.

I think that the bolts would shear off before it would get a chance to bend the frame, but you're the one taking the risk. I would just buy an aftermarket one and save myself the trouble.

Nope, they wont. At least on my bike, most subframes are weak, especially yamaha's subframes. Not a chance I'd take. Maybe he just needs to learn to balance better...
