Default glowing header????

jetted the carb correctly for a full hmf exhaust on a 660r, am i to lean or too rich, how do i fix it or can i just leave it. i only saw it at night and havent looked at it in the day. people say that it is very common for aftermarkit pipes because their thin (bigger diamiter) but someone told me that if they get too hot the can actually mealt the header is this true??? how bad is this for the quad? thanks for the help.

If you increase your jets it will make your bike run cooler. If you lean it out you will make it run hotter. Sometimes leaning them out gives you more power. But as far as the Header melting goes i wouldn't think it would ever melt your piston would either seize or something would happen before you headpipe would actually melt.
