i just picked up the dec. atv sport and read about suzuki's new treu 450cc. that thing is wicked looking. the suspension is huge, so they say, and its got a bunch of travel. it is also fuel injected. it is totally loaded from the factory. where is brp? i love my ds but i am starting to feel like i am riding a ancient artifact. polaris, yamaha, suzuki, have all stepped up with new bikes and a ktm in 06. brp better have something totally top secret that is wicked fast in the works for 06 or i am going to pick up another quad and it wont be a bomb. i think that ds250 is a slap in the face. to even call it a ds is bad enough.

 

Yeah, I totally agree. Im going to be buying another quad next year and it WILL be a 450 class......lets just hope that its a Bombardier, [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]...........got a good feeling it will be a Bombardier, [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

They will probably come out with another outlander [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]



not that there is anything wrong with outlanders, they need to step up in the sport quad segment.

I don't know how old you are but I ride my buddy's 450 from time to time on sand. At my age it beats the daylights out of me. I hate it. It races good though.

 

See thats my problem im only 19 (6'1 and 220) and even I hate the yfz purely because it beats the tar out of me while riding (guess I cant complain about body aches just yet [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] ) They are light and nimble, but I cant get comfortable on them. The 450r's are not as bad for me, but still nothing close the ds.

 

expect a 500 and bomb's done with 2-strokes all together as of 07 i think because their quitting before it becomes a law that you cant have them and as for the 450 i heard a rumor of mid summer for alot of new models at once

 

I couldn't agree more. That Suzuki is wicked. One of the dealers in town got two in already. The owner and his son have them both, shocker. I did check them out though. I think Suzukie realy outsmarted Yami and Honda with this bike. It almost has ds suspension travel. It has a wicked stance to it as well. If I were in the market for a new bike I think it would be at the top of my list.....just my.02
