I am a first time buyer and am having a real hard time deciding between the Kodiak 450 and the Outlander 400 HO. The Outlander 5 year free warranty right now is realy enticing.

Anyways, for those who have the Outlander 400 HO, can you please give me some feedback as you what you like and don't like about it?

I've got 04 400XT, have had since summer 03. In Canada it came with a 3 year warranty and the dealer has treated me very well. I've driven a few and as far as I'm concerded it's the best in it's class. Great on rocky trails and is lighter than most. It is more sporty actually and rides so smooth at first I wondered where the power was until I looked down at the speedo. That being said for those that ride ( ileagaly I might add ) with two people Bomby is not the machine unless you go 2 seater and I've never driven one of those I here they are a hard ride.If your pockets are deep enough I'd look at the 800 or if you can wait the 650.
