Hey my boy rides a warrior when we go riding my lt250r eats him alive. but I have a 230 quadsport to beat around on and he kills that thing. The warrior feels real small compared to both of my quads and the suspension seems to suck even when jumping small hills. I would say it is an all around good quad and can do in the neighborhood of about 60 mph. Just keep the air filter clean and change your oil all the time and the thing should last forever.

Warriors make a good trail bike, there not the fastest but in the woods that dont matter much.

As far as jetting missing it up, improper jetting will screw any quad up. You just have to jet according to your mods, altitude and even temperature makes a difference.

If completely stock Id recommend a Pipe, air filter and rejet and diffently new tires and have fun

my 250 is an 86 but it is in great shape best I have ever seen..Just wash it all the time.....my boy has the dg exhaust and k&N air filter on his Warrior....It is nice and loud has a real nice sound.louder than my cobra pipe on my quadsport but not as loud as the fmf on my quadracer. I think his is a 98 but the motors over the years pretty much stayed the same if I recall.
