Default sad day for the yfz

today a 06yfz450 got spanked by a stock 99 400ex. im not talkin about a straight line either. 2 laps around a flat track (about 500 ft straights). the yfz just couldnt hang. i know this was mostly due to rider but its still pathetic. im tired of ppl saying they have the fastest quad in a straight line. whoopty doo!!! you can go straight. that takes no talent at all. this goes out to all you people out there making threads about having fast quads and whats faster. turn the bars a few times and see who is the better rider. if i rode afterburners raptor i could have done 113 or what ever his top speed was. not taking anything away from him bc that was completely badass!!! but let see some ppl race around a track and then see who is faster.

im guessing the 400ex is you and you know your quad alot better then the guy with the brand new yfz give hime time to know his quad and i bet you he will be rite on your tail if not passing you up.

i undertsand what you are saying though drag races dont prove anything but who has more hp.

I love to race flat track, thats all my quad is setup to do. There is alot more that goes into setting a quad up for flat track then HP. You have to have your setup right. You have to get the power to the ground. you want to be a little loose but not to loose. i mean There is alot that goes into play there. You can have all the HP you want and if you dont have the right setup your not going to do that well. But If your freind on the YFZ gets his setup down he will do good.
