The backfire is a sign of a lean idle circuit.
Have you done any wrenching lately?
Look for loose intake, exhaust leaks, bad old gas.
Has the mixture screw been touched ? Taken the air box lid off?

There are a few things that can cause popping on deceleration. A partialy clogged pilot jet, air/fuel screw needs to be adjusted(richer), an exhaust leak, or an intake sucking air.

I ran into to this with my 450. Adjusting the valves can take care of the problem.

Yeah well awhile ago it was doing it so i took the carb apart and blow the out the main jet to see if it was clog. I dont have the air box lid off but have 5 hole drilled and , and i havent touched the fuel mixture or the idle cuz it idles fine when it is just siting there oh and also it take it for ever to get warmed up like if i turn the choke off it dies after awhile so i really have to ride it for it to idle

THANX..
