If you do not have one a clutch kit is a must. What is the surface sand? Loose all the weight you can (from the quad that is).
A400L is sand drager I`m sure you`ll hear from him. He will give some good info. HTH

Here's what you'll need to make it a top runner:

HPD race porting, 15.5:1 billet head, HPD pipe (loose the AAEN), HPD drag clutch kit, FTZ 38mm Mikuni alky carb, Hot Seat +3" swingarm, 20" tires. These are the basics, there are several other smaller mods to be done as well along the way. I know, I've been through it!

Just for curiousity sake, do you have any idea what kind of HP will be made with all those mods. Not that I plan to do any of them, I'm just the nosy sort

That hp is at the crank though. YOu wont be getting 50 to the back until you do some porting and a head/dome. Youll need a drag clutch kit from hpd to get that power to the ground.

Dennis Shotwell has a nice n2 setup on his 400.

Will this dragging be for S&G or will you be making money, b/c its most definantly gonna cost to get you up there!
