Default How do you tell if you have a burnt piston?

I was just wondering because my friend put racing fuel and octane booster in my STOCK 05' 400ex and now it has kind've a rattle when you hit the throttle. Anyone know what this is? It may just be a loose part but I have yet to check.

octane booster will not cause a burnt piston, it just slows the burn rate down so you do not detonate

it's not leaning it out or making the burn hotter

What propnut said.
Beyond that, if you are worried just do a compression or leak-down test.
