i was thinking about getting some 450r shocks and i was wonderign how much better are they than the stock 400ex shocks? are they to stiff how do they feel off of a jump?

 

Well since they are adjustable you can set them up for how you like to ride. As far as comparison between 400EX and 450R shocks, it's like night and day.

 

Im thinking about putting 400ex shocks on my 250x. But are the a-arms the same length for 400ex and 450r?

 

yes they are the same length i am going with the 450r shocks i like the 400ex but i need more im bottoming out! do you have the conversion kit? to make the 400ex shocks fit the 250x? or you could just buy 400ex a-arms and get +1 wider... i have the kit that is +3 on each side

 

When i get the money Im buying the conversion kit. Then 400ex or 450r shocks depending on which ones are cheaper at the time then the a-arms with the shocks. Right now they seem pretty expensive.

the 400ex shocks are really bad. I got works shocks on mine now and i love them.
