Installed the sprag, sprag housing flywheel, everything looks good but everytime i tighten housing bolts the starter locks up. loosen the 4 bolts ontop of housing starter works. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

gasket is compressing too much. I had a severe stator cover leak one of the mechanics at work gave me a gasket eliminator to try and the same thing happened to me. Loosen the top bolts about a half a turn and everything is fine. Or the washer is on the wrong shaft.
