Here is the situation boys:
I am new to this ATV stuff, however I will tell you what I am looking for. I want the best all around utility ATV to be used for pulling a trailor and other heavy items and to get around in muddy fields with up to a foot of water. Speed or manueverability is not an issue nor is price. Also, less maintenance is obviously better. Thanks guys!!!!

#1 Bombardier Traxter, 500. ( now your going to have to get one from John Deere)
#2 Artic cat, 500.
#3 Polaris, any cc you want 500 and over.

 

just picked up a noncurrent 400 tbx, have experience with AC with a friends 400 auto ,this has same powertrain[prefer this to 500 as its air/oilcooled[read simpler] and has more than enough power for my utility needs , recently pulled a gmc 2500 series van up a icy/snowy incline[about 10 degrees] /truck in gear/idling, this is a 6000# vehichle, quad exhibited no wheelspin [low range/4-wd, non locker] pulled right away ,was very impressed. prior to that truck would just spin tires/no foreward movement at all
