hey i have a 2005 660r and my buddy just picked up a 2006 700r and hes ranting and raving about how fast it is and this and that and he said he bets me when the track opens this year (march) hes gonna run at LEAST a 13.99 (we race full 1/4 mile) bone stock. i think hes getting alittle carried away with his new ride, whats the new raptors running stock or what are your predictions?

Not a chance, sorry but a stock raptor is not going to be in the 13's. Probably high 14's. I'll even be bold and say that there are probably no stock quads that will run in the 13's.

What bolt did he remove? The thumb throttle has a plastic tab at the back that hits the throttle housing. It is phisically impossible to open the thumb lever past that point.
Let me know.

im pretty sure thats the bolt he removed because he said "it opens up more now", so looks like at the track STOCK he will be mid 14 at best and more around a high to low 15 correct?
