Default warrior wont start

Just bought an 02 warrior. The carb needed cleaned so i took it all apart sprayed it like crazy put it back together. Now it starts but it will only run for like 10 secs and then shuts off. If i disconnect the air box and hold my hand over the open end of the carb it will stay running. Its gettin gas. What could be the problem? Adjustment screws on the carb? Air filter? New jets? Im at a loss at this point. Any help would be great. Thanks

Well if it has set for a while.... Check your gas cap.. If the little hole in it is clog up and not letting air in you could be vapor locking... Make sure you gas line from your tank to your carb is clean...make sure your gas valve on your tank is not cloged up....

It sounds like it isnt getting enough fuel the neddle valve might be binding up.. tear it down again and inspect every thing for burs and ect anything that will not let it move freely

just my 2 cents

make sure you have enough gas in it, and make sure the gas is on, and make sure if u have a fuel filter that its not clogged bad and make sure none of the gas lines r clogged

that has happened to me before

good luck
