Default Grizzly miles/hours

I bought a new Grizz about six months ago. So far I love it and have had no problems with almost 600 miles on it already. The only things I really don't like about it is the when you hit the rear brake real hard it makes a "clanking" sound, but does stop. Also, it seems like it really runs hot because the fan almost always runs even if it's cold out. Anyways, I was just wondering how many miles you can expect out of one of these machines with proper maintainance and not abusing it. I try to change the oil regularly and check all the boots and stuff periodically. I mainly use it at the farm checking cattle and doing chores and occassionally go on some trail rides. I really don't need 4x4 but it's nice to have if needed. I hope to put 10,000 miles on it without any major problems. Could this be expected?

I have a 3-wheeler that is over 20 years old. If you take care of it there is no reason why it shouldn't last as long. If you're talking about maintenance free years, there is no such thing.

I just bought a new 2006 special edition grizz, and it does the clanking thing just like my 2005, 2004 grizzly's, and my brothers kodiak 450 as well.

How you like those 27 bearclaws? I was wanting bigger tires, but don't want to sacrifice speed in the top end range.....friends and I ride alot on the street around neighborhood.

AHHHH- Yes the clunk it makes when you hit the rear brakes my 06 does the same thing also when you hit bumps hard and get air. I'm not sure why it does it but all of the new ones do. I rode 11 at the dealer to make sure it was just not mine.
