I've have alot of experience on quads and used to race motocross. I am 5'9 and 165 ibs. I do alot off trail some times day long runs threw ruff and mud any anything else in the path lots off open full out speed for long distance too. I also race off road and want to get serious about it and maybe start some xc. I ride track once and a wile.

I was thinking a z400 with a max power 450 kit and other basic mods or a raptor 660 lowered a bit with extended axel and a arms + slite engine mods or a predator with a few mods. For me it comes down to wich one is most reliable after the mods. I want to know how reliable the z 400 is after the 450 kit and how reliable the predator is in general I know about the early model problems so I would be looking at maybe an 04 model.

 

The pred is a pretty sweet machine. THe shocks and axle package are great stock. I thnk it's like a 1500 dollar add on if you were to buy it.
