My Blaster could die, hope not!

I just got my 99 blaster all put back together it melted a piston i bought it broken. honed the cylinder for about 10 minutes on slow threw it back together with a std bore piston and i have a wicked rattle i am guessing from a sloppy piston, the compresson seems fine. but it just sounds like hell lol. and it will not idle how can i adjust the idle on my blaster??? never messed with a carb before so if anyone can tell me in great detail how to tune the carb i would really appreciate it.
thanks

Your wasting your time with the carb if your piston is slapping like that. Did you measure the cylinder bore and the piston??? You're going to break the skirt off of the piston before long and that could cause an even bigger problem. If that was my bike I wouldn't ride it like that.

First off, You better fix that piston slap or you'll be getting a new motor. Take it back apart and get a piston to fit the bore. That should be on the top of your list not worring about the idle on the thing. Once u get the slap out then u shoudl worry about the carb. Just my .02
