DO i force it or read instructions
#1
So i wanted to change my wheel bearings at the front. I took the wheel off and the big bolt at the end of the hub and of course the codder pin.
No i took the front caliper of and now the hud does not want to come off. I have a service manual but it does not really say if i just pull or what.
I thought i would ask you guys becuase i have a tendancy of doing something the wrong way then i get pissed off and then i break it. so i don't wnat the to happen. SO do i force it off or am i missing something. I have my bearings all ready to go.
I got stuck with that so moved on i manged to put my buddies dirt bike wheel on, rim and spokes and mke it true so you would think i could take some bearings out!
thanks

If I read this right, (not sure I am) ya, just take a dead blow and give it a little smack on the back side and it will come off, if it's like every other hub I have worked on.

i got the hub off using my brain. I used 2 C clamps and a metal rod inbetween and attached the clamp to 2 spoke parts and put the metal piece in betwwen so it touched the spindle and tightend them simitanaisouly worked like a charm no problems, at first i was hammering it at an angle didn't do a thing.
Thanks for the help.
