Default YFZ 450

I have heard from a few people that the 04 YFZ had probs with having bad rods...Is this true??

I also read a post about some issues with the very early build of some 450's. There was an issue causing a lack of oil getting to the rod bearings and causing them to dissentegrate. What I have heard is it was an early production error that is few and far between

I have 2-04 YFZ's and they both run Excellent.........

Those where very isolated cases, and NOT COMMON. Dotn worry abot it, unless your bill balance, out on the track riding the ever living crap out of your quad!
