Hi everyone.
You have a shee? You changed to a twist throttle?
Read the topic "where do the motion pro idle kit go?" in the performance mods & mechanical.
I need help to know where I have to drill my carbs.
Anyways, check my website, in the carbs (idle kit) you'll see where I think is good to drill, tread and put the idle tuner (that looks like a bol). PLEASE TELL ME IF IT'S RIGHT!!!!!!

Thanks in advance

I have owned and raced and modded MANY banshee's, to do this, you'll get a drill bit and a 6mm X1.0 tap, on the left sides of both carbs (yes the right carbs idle screw will NOT face outward) there is a small stub sticking out which you'll drill and tap. MAKE SURE BOTH ARE SET the same!! Take out your slides and you'll see that there are already notches for the idle screws to slide on. the only problem with this kit is that IT WILL get water into the slides then and the carb slides will stick! thus creating an annoying ride! that results in taking out the slides and wiping the water off to get idle back down, to AVOID this problem get 2 factory rubber carb tops from a 86ish yz250 as long as it has a round slide. (they cover the tops of the caps and the cable goes through them) I ended up getting the trinity 2 into 1 carb kit. which SUCKED!

Hem...
OK, I'm looking at the right place, but both stick outside. On the right carb (the one pictured) it sticks on the right, and on the left, it sticks on the left...I agree that it's strange because nothing else is this way (one carb inside the other out). But they both stick outside. I'm posting the left carb pic on my site. The right is already there. Check it and tell me if I'm right.
Thanks

Hi Zorro
The idle screws are on the outside , the slides cant be changed .Left slide cut-away is on the left and the right slide cut-away is on the right side.

OK.
That sounds right...except why do you want me to change the slides?
Anyways, thanks a lot everyone for the info, I'll take the carbs off tonight, clean them (that's gonna be necessary), drill, tap and put the idle screw.
Thanks again.

There it is.
Finished and beautiful. If you want to admire it, check "my banshee standing still" on the site...don't know if it works though...don't have time to clean the carbs and mount it (tomorrow exam at 8:30...aaaaaaaaaah)...but, hey! first things first
