Backed cat up into truck last night, left it in reverse, locked brakes, straped down. Went ice fishing this morning, tried to unload, stuck in reverse and couldn't start because '98 454 can only start in neutral. Still in truck. Reverse shift lever is on right side of machine, lever that actually goes into transmission is on left side. The two are connected by a cable. Anyone ever expierence this problem? Remedies?

I've got a 97 454. Have you tried to roke the cat back and forthe some? I have found that works on mine when it will not go into reverse.
