This is a home-made deal. Nobody can tell you if it's good or not.
The questionn is::Why?
Power isn't gained with the carb. A stock motor only pulls in so much air. The stock carb will run a modded motor to 12k rpm's.
Spend your money elsewhere IMO.

WHAT IS YOUR SUGESTION FOR A CARB? IT IS BORED ONE SIZE OVER STOCK AND I HAVE I THINK A COBRA PIPE FROM WHAT IVE SEEN ON EBAY. I CANT FIND ANY CLUE TO WHAT IT IS. MY CARB IS STOCK JET 92.5. IVE DEVISED A OPEN K&N AIR FILTER. I DONT WANT USE THE BIG FUNKY STOCK AIRBOX. THIS IS FOR MY DAUGHT, 4 YEARS OLD JUST STARTING TO RIDE SO POWER IS NOT A ISSUE YET BUT I WANT A GOOD SET UP. I HAVENT HAD IT RUNNINGYET. STILL WORKING ON CUSTOM FRONT SUSPINSION AND JUST GOT DONE WITH CUSTOM FOOT PEGS. I DONT GET IN A BIG HURRY. I LIKE THINGS RIGHT. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I think you should use the stock carb. Nothing wrong with it.
The pipe could be a cobra. They don't make them anymore.
What's was wrong with the stock air-box?

I agree with LT80 save your money $$, spend it else where. I have a 20mm carb witha K&N air filter 105 mj and it runs good. after spending the money I found that the stock carb is just as good with a larger jet after mods. I also have a FMF pipe and silencer and found that that holds back on top speed. So SAVE YOUR $$.....

FYI: I stand corrected. I seen the unit spoke of and it is NOT a home brew. It's custom made by Chris Grissom.
It's also over $500 to buy.
I'm not wrong about you not needing it tho.

Wow, 4 years old huh? I'm guessing she is purdy darn tall. My 6 year old has only about 4 inches between his butt and the seat when he is standing up on the pegs.
28mil? That is an awful big carb. Without some porting, it really is a waste. If you can, run the stock carb and airbox. A watertight LT is a happy LT, my .07 cents. Bill

Wow, I've never heard of a carb that big for these lil guys..............
You can do much better stuff that will benefit the LT much better than that gas guzzling Carb.
Good Luck, have fun

We also run a 28mm kehin carb with the V force reeds on one of our LT80's with a K&N filter. We have a 6mm stroker in it. Had no problem against a couple of Hetrick bikes last year. You also have to machine the cases for the reed block.
