Default Having a problem with my 2 wheel 4 wheel drive button

Lets see where should I start. Ok when i'm going and I put it into 4 wheel drive I don't have a problem at all. It shifts into 4 wheel drive any time at any speed with no problem when I go to shift it back into 2 wheel drive it won't go back unless I tap my front brakes and then it will go back into 2 wheel drive. Another thing I noticed is when it's in 4 wheel drive and I shift it back into 2 wheel drive that when I slow down to under 3 mph the light goes out and when I speed back up to above 5 mph the light comes back on. I tried one other thing is when I slowed down and it went out and I gave it some pretty good gas maybe 1/2 throttle or so then the light would go out and stay out. I really didbn't have to much time to play with it today but thats what I noticed. Does anyone have any suggestions on what it might be. I also have an extended warranty until nov of 06. Will thry cover this problem? I would think they would. Thanks for any replys.

what is the quad and what size motor my friend just took his quad in for the same problem and yes they will cover most any problems with your quad... the only reason they wouldint cover it is if it was done on purpose dont try to do any thing to it with tools and stuff like that because doing this will fraud your warrenty

Did your friend get his fixed? If so do you know what they did to fix it? Mine is a 2003 foreman S which has the 450 motor in it. Thanks for the advice
