Does any one know if polaris made a special eddittion SP500. Some one told me that they did and a friend of his had one. He said it has different gearing like a 700 or so, and it was a lot defferent then a normal 500 I dont know what year he was talking about but all I could come up with was a old 500 vs. a 500H.O. If they did what were the changes PLEASE HELP THANKS

 

there have beena few SE sportsmans but as far as i know and have been told they were just different plastics like the freedom edition and then there was a dale jr. one...

 

I was told they were built for the dealers by Polaris only in limited numbers and were beefed up 500s. Any one know any info on this? I think it was around 2002 or so
