Hey guys, I just said that to get some interest. Are there any other people that live close to me that have a Polaris or a Polaris shop in their town?? Because our shop is really pissing me off!! One time, I took our 98 Sportsman over there, and they replaced the wheel bearings. While they were doing it, they casually took the 4x4 coil off, and put it in another Polaris atv. Not only did they rob it off mine, they forgot to get another one!!!!! So one day, I was mudding along.. and I happened to look down, and the front right tire wasn't spinning. So I got stuck! Then, I went to the little cliff at my house.. trying to climg it and only 3 spun, again, my right front was sitting still.. I BEGAN TO QUESTION THE POLARIS 4X4 SYSTEM!! IS IT 3 WHEEL DRIVE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE'S???? So I took a look in the wheel, and WA-LA, No coil!!! I knwo I didn't take it out, and the guy that worked on it at my house didn't. So I took it back to the guy, and he put the coil in it.. and he had it up on the jack.. and everything was working good.. then EVERYTHING quit. So I put it on the trailer, and took it to MOMENTUM MOTOR SPORTS IN MT. PLEASANT TX. After a 3 week wait, they finally got it fixed. I brought it home, unloaded it off my truck, drove it MAYBE 100 yards, and parked it beside my Banshee. Last week, I got on it, it rained pretty hard, gonna do a little mudding, and what do ya know!! the 4X4 still dosen't work. The switch is stuck in, but it comes out just enough to not engage! Has anyone else had this problem???? I am not knocking POLARIS RELIABILITY, But I am knocking my DEALERSHIP! and I want to know, does anyone have a good repair shop around my town?? thanks you,

 

I am not in your area but. Have you talked to the management at your shop ? And if you have you should write a NICE!! letter to Polaris Ind. in Mn.
Explain what is going on with your dealer. It also would help if you have alot more people with similar complaints. So you all can write and E-mail Polaris. We had a shop here that was terrible and now they lost their dealership and someone else has taken over and it's one of the best in the west!! You never have to put up with a lousy dealer they are representitives of Polaris and if they are not doing the very best that they can do than guess what Polaris will shut them down! No gregsims, it would be MOMENTUM MOTOR SPORTS in Mt. Pleasant. Hahaha, I took it back today, and they said that the guy that worked on it, messed up the coil.. So they may not be as bad. I am looking for a new dealer ASAP. Greg, how often do you need repairs/maintnence on your Sportsman, It's a long drive to Diana from here, to take it down there every day! Thanks
