Default One man's junk...

How much would you really pay for some of the ATVs littering up the internet classifieds each and every day? Your ATV Connection editors have rounded up some of the silliest and most ludicrous of the "good deals" out there these days:

It kills me what some people think their junk is worth. For $500 I expect a running quad. It might smoke more than a steam locomotive but it should run. I bought a Yamaha Timberwolf once that fit that decription. It had no brakes either. But it started(with starting fluid) and ran for $500. The $800 Bayou was the worst of all. The Bayou is one of the cheapest adult-sized quads you can find used now. $800 is almost too much for one in good shape, at least one of the older 220cc ones. These "parts quads" have basically no value. Unless its something really rare and unique like a 250r or quadzilla, its not even worth your gas money to go pick it up if its free. The only exception might be if you have the same quad and might need something off the junk one but the hassle usually isn't worth it. So many places you can order parts off the internet without even having to leave home now. New parts too, not rusted out junk either.

Amen brother, when I look over a parts quad, I'm looking for the gold or silver or platinum that has to hiding in it due to someone's pride! I have picked some up for <$100 & got all kinds of parts for that "just in case" moment
