Default BF 650i or Grizzly 660?

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum and am looking to buy an atv. I have been looking at the Kawasaki Brute Force 650i and the Grizzly 660. I have riden both and they are both awesome machines but i am curious what other people recommend? The Kawi is about $500 less from the local dealer. Is the Grizzly worth the extra money or would i be just as happy with the Kawi? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have never rode a grizzly but, I own a 06 BF650 sra and it is a great machine and power out the ying yang. Just ride both and put them through their paces and make your decision based on that. I don't think you could go wrong with either machine.

ive had my grizz for half a year now and i love it. its very powerful and i could do anything with it/ go through anything with it. its fast... good for mudding, good for trail riding, great for pulling ur friends quads out of streams, lol, good for water, pulling... and its great at plowing. the 2wd, 4wd, and 4wd diff. is great. i have not had one problem with it yet... and not expecting any soon. its a very reliable quad and its FAST. i got it to 70 last weekend and it was nuckin futs. i think both quads are good though and i think ull enjoy either one that u pick. good luck and have fun!

Does anybody know which quad would be better on gas? The big 660 single in the grizz or the 633 V-twin in the kawi?

The V-twin is thirsty, the Griz will get better gas milage.

IMHO, the BF is a better bike. Toss in it being $500 less just seals the deal.

Why won't you consider a KQ 700 if your considering these two? The KQ gets waaaay better gas milage with it's EFI, cold starts are easy, it has more power, and the 4wd kicks in instantaniously unlike these two machines. Between the Grizz and the BF 650 I'd recommend the BF..it will out run a Grizz and it's V-twin engine is very smooth and torquey...but I recommend the KQ 700 over both of these.

To be honest i probably would consider a KQ 700 but i live in a small town and there isnt a suzuki dealer here. The nearest one is about 1 hour away and i am not interested in dealing with a dealer that far away when there is a yamaha, kawi and polaris dealer nearby. The polaris is too heavy for my liking and the BF 650i and grizz 660 are what i have narrowed in down to. I appreciate your feedback tho. i may take a closer look into the KQ 700 just for kicks. I thought it was considerably more $$ though.
