what is the top end of both? it seems the older 250 would be faster cause its a 2 stroke but maybe not. my friend has a 1998 250 and im thinking of buying a 2000 325 and wondered whose would win

templar16,
i can't say what the 250 boss will do but i have a 00 325 trail boss bought back in april. i just two days ago drag raced my buddy who rides a 00 250 trailblazer 2 stroke and i smoked him over and over. he bought his 2 weeks before me and weighs within 5 lbs. of me. also his bike is lighter. i got off the line quicker every time. we did it around 10 times. the only mod on my quad at this point is the front sprocket. went with one more tooth. my buddy also had to replace his and went with the bigger sprocket. it is supposed to give you more top end. i can say you will love the new 325. the suspension is cush. 9 inches in the back and 6.9 in the front. whatever one you get keep an eye on your brakes so you don't groove up the rotors. now get out and ride!!
