<<<<<<<<The campaigns of Republican George W. Bush and Democrat Al Gore now must wait for the results of a recount in Florida, where the candidates are separated by a razor-thin margin. "They're still counting," said Bush campaign official Don Evans in a statement to Bush supporters at 4:30 a.m. EST, "and I'm confident when it's all said and done, we will prevail.">>>>>>>>>>>

To close of a battle now by 220 votes, some say on CNN that gore may win electoral vote and bush by popular.

Then they come back and state that Bush could win.

UPDATE AS OF 06:00CST***
Florida Poles Bush-2,909,136 49 %
Gore-2,907,351 49 %

Remember, it goes by electoral votes, not popular votes. So even though Oregon is undecided they only have a total of 7 electoral votes while Florida has 25. So whoever wins Florida wins the campaign. So far bush at 246 and gore at 260 so the win towards Oregon will not matter, only Florida.
