Seeking advice on a few different types of ATVs...
#1
I'm trying to find advise on a couple of manufactuers that make ATVs and scooters. Basically I'm trying to find out if these units are being sold in the US and if they do, do they show good reviews? I'm sure most already know that I'm an ATV retailer in Japan, so by no means am I trying to promote any products.
The list is;
www.hercheemoto.com (Adly) They have a really nice looking 300cc large model ATV, which is supposed to be the same engine as the Honda 300ex. Are these any good? Any info on the scooters or other ATV's they sell would be great too. Is the 50cc the same as Vento?
www.newforcemotor.com They have good sized ATVs with many good features and fair pricing. The company rates the 250 model the same as the Kymco 250, but improved.?
www.aeromotor.com They have many of the TRX450R style (full size) with a few different engines 50, 100 and 260. I bought 50 and am completly surprised with the quality.
BasicallyI'm just wanting to know how well the hold up in the American market..

That Adly caught my eye a long time ago. Motor spec'd out like a 300ex and everything else like a 400ex. Of course that's assuming they are accurate. At any rate, I'd like to see one.

Raptro, Thanks for the reply. I've been really curious about the Adly 300, for I can buy them factory direct for a fair price and complete with a 1 year manufactuer waranty. I'm sure most would think that atvs would be more common and cheaper in Japan (Jap made brands), but they are very expensive and used in good condition are scarce and more expensive than the imports are new. go figure.

I think it was DW that did a comparo between the Adly300 and the 300EX. The Adly is basically a 300EX knockoff that came out as a fairly solid machine. It did lag behind the 300EX in several areas though. At msrp it probably isn't worth the money, but if you can get one significantly cheaper...
Seems they are selling the same thing here

scooter86, I have heared that they are really close, well as far as the engine goes. I'm just wondering how the suspension etc handles. Buying directly from the manfactuer would make it significantly less then what venom is selling them for. I live on a island very close to Taiwan, Okinawa. So the freight between the two countries is very cheap, vice shipping to the US. So there's a lot of room in the cost area. My friend priced a brand new '05 660 from Yamaha and it was over 10k. So instead he bought one in the us and had it modded at the shop he bought it from and then had it fed-ex'd to him and still saved over $3,000. The only other choice is a 17- 20 year old blaster for over $2,500 in fair cond.. domestic shipping would almost be another $500.
