I have a 1998 450ES Foreman and when you rev it up the electric shift quits and you can push the buttons up or down and nothing, but i can turn the key off and back on and it works again,some times it displays dashes when you are riding it shifting and get a high rev,but it also does it when u sit there and rev it to warm it up, it won't shift from neutral at all but turning off the key resets it and it works again, like i said ,any suggestions??

 

First thing to check, make sure your battery is in good condition, then clean and tighten the battery cables. I had my 99 ES do something similar and come to find out it was a weak battery, I put a new one in and it cured my problem.
